Canturbury Downs has yearly wiener dog races. This year I decided that Dolores should race since she is fast. My only concern was she is half wiener dog, half who knows what. The lady that organizes the race assured me that it was okay. So I signed Dolores up. We drove to Canterbury Downs and by the time we arrived it was pouring rain and freezing cold. The race was delayed once, then twice and once more. Finally the race was postponed. And Dolores didn’t get to race. We couldn’t make it to the postponed date.
