We bought 5 gallons of cider from Brand Apple Farm in Farmington MN. We put it in the carboy and added some yeast to make hard cider.

We traveled to Southern Iowa for the annual Ferguson Family reunion in Tingley.  The weather was warm, the food was filling and the company was great.

After the reunion we took a roadtrip down memory lane and drove around exploring Gary and Connie’s old stomping grounds.

Ryan took me along during one of his training “flights.” I sat in the “backseat” of the flight simulator. It was amazing how real it was! I always thought that when he was going to the simulator it was just a computer screen and a joystick.

We went for a sail on Lake Minnetonka. It was a beautiful evening.

We toured the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. It was absolutely beautiful.

It is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and the 8th largest in the world. Up to 40,000 people can worship in the mosque at the same time!

We went shopping at Dubai’s Gold Souk. We didn’t buy gold.
